Why We Breed

When our children were very little, we were gifted with an adult neutered Irish Setter: named Brownie. We were already dog lovers and had a mix breed yard dog and several cats and even a horse. Brownie changed our world. He became best friend, constant companion and protector from all dangers he perceived. He would wrap his whole body around our 2 year old to protect him from anything from a stray dog in the yard to a scolding parent. Brownie some how knew that our little one on the Autism Spectrum didn't quickly get all the right an wrong things a dog would tolerate but never once did Brownie ever show any aggression at his boy or the family. The summer our son learn to ride a bike with training wheels, the teacher, our son and Brownie all were jumping up and down in leaps of joy. Even quiet times with Brownie were special , our son who had speech challenges, would teach Brownie how to pray at night in their quiet snuggle times.

When Brownie passed away as an old dog, it took us years to replace him. That struggle and our deep loved we had developed for the Irish Setter breed, led us to breeding. Once we got our Ruby ~ gorgeousIrish Setter . As our passion is to continually improve our breeding program so that we offer only the very best!

How we raise our puppies is of equal importance to us! Our puppies are raised in our homes, and since socialization is a crucial development to puppies, we start from day one including these prized pups into our lives until they become a part of yours!
